It would work well in a worsted weight, just add those extra stitches to keep the width approximately the same. Add a few extra stitches at the short rows, mirroring the numbers on each side to get the shoulder shape!
Let me know how it works, or better yet, send a photo by email when you are done!
Happy Knitting, Chris chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08530046359068388972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-362487751109655084.post-13584153317937385172017-12-30T15:59:40.483-05:002017-12-30T15:59:40.483-05:00Hi Chris: Love your pattern - its just what I have...Hi Chris: Love your pattern - its just what I have been looking for....except, I really want to use a worsted weight yarn that I have. To convert to the lighter weight yarn, I assume I just find my gauge to the 4 inches (in other words I might get 10 to 12 stitches) and then calculate the difference from the 8 stitches in your gauge and add the extra stitches I'll need to cast on? Hope I am making sense. :)Sharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06234937415000655441noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-362487751109655084.post-53527227828732062342016-09-06T14:11:49.049-04:002016-09-06T14:11:49.049-04:00Exactly Doogy Dog. I feel like I have put in too many rows and may need to make an adjustment (rip out). I love this pattern and want to get it finished for September. Remember to work to the same length on the other side after the short rows. This adjustment would also work if your gauge is smaller ( more stitches to the 4 inch swatch ), and you want the same size as mine! Please check gauge first either way.
Enjoy!chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08530046359068388972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-362487751109655084.post-47617434027644192582015-05-29T12:13:52.529-04:002015-05-29T12:13:52.529-04:00Found your pattern today. My question to you is: if I am a larger woman, how would I adjust to make it a little longer and wider.Kathy Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01978439361022979854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-362487751109655084.post-57280536841586841652014-09-05T19:41:34.864-04:002014-09-05T19:41:34.864-04:00Great for Florida!
