Christmas Market... my First Craft Show.

I am ready.  All the work from the last six months have produced enough inventory for my first craft show!  I will be at the Christmas Market, at Ridley College, St. Catharines, ON, on Friday December 6.  Open to the public, free admission, 2 - 7pm.
I hope to see some of my local readers there...

I have sock monkeys and monsters, hats, purses, bags, felted soaps, dryer balls....
large bags, stockings, one cool large stuffed felted monster, and a zebra chair.....
and lots of small, and large scarves, in wool felt and nuno-felt featuring vintage silks.
All priced from $5 to $80.
There will also be a few coats, for purchase or samples for custom felting...

Please come and see me.  But if you cannot, you can also shop at my etsy site.  Link is above right.

  1. Wow! It looks great! Please post how well you did, as this is an idea I've been toying with for a while now (Compulsive knitter and crocheter, gotta do something with it all! I've been giving it away, but it'd be nice to have a few extras for that something special!... Ahem!... more yarn?)

  2. I will post how it goes. I got lots of encouragements from other vendors over the last few months, and would love to encourage others.
I love to produce the nuno-felt, but who needs 30 shawls? Must sell, to justify making more :)

  3. Last weekend my community had a craft fair. I saw lots of knitters but not a lot of buyers. I'm now hesitant to enter next year's fair. How did you do?

  4. The Show that I chose to attend, is well known for its higher end arts, and goods. Really fine jewelry, beautiful alpaca products (including knitwear), and gourmet food. My table was always busy, and I had a good deal of interest, selling $800 worth of product. (no coats, as I expect that was a bit too expensive for impulse buying). I also got 15 names for upcoming workshops, which should keep me busy through the long winter.
Thanks for checking how it went!
    Cheers, Chris
